Reserving your Paris Passlib’

What is the Paris Passlib’?

The Paris Passlib’ is Paris’s official pass. It’s fully digital and has its own app. Available in 4 versions (Mini, City, Explore, Prestige), the Paris Passlib’ gives you access to a choice of attractions from the following sites* (*depending on the version you choose).

It’s easy to use – just show your pass when you arrive at the venue (depending on the booking conditions required for each attraction).

Where can I buy a Paris Passlib’?

You can buy a Paris Passlib’ on the official website of the Paris Tourist Office here or at one of our two information centres in Paris.

Our main information centre is in the city hall (Hôtel de Ville), 29 rue de Rivoli.
Metro Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 and 11) or Châtelet (lines 1, 4, 7, 11 and 14) or RER Châtelet-les-Halles (lines A, B and D). Opening times are listed here.

Our second information centre is in the Gare du Nord station, next to platforms 7 to 9 – international arrivals.
RER Gare du Nord (lines B and D) or Metro Gare du Nord (lines 4 and 5). Opening times are listed here.

You can also buy the pass on the websites of the Paris Tourist Office’s partners.

Can I reserve a Paris Passlib’ online and receive it by email?

Yes! The Paris Passlib’ is 100% digital. Once you have completed your online purchase you will receive a confirmation email with your Paris Passlib’. Just follow the instructions to download your QR-code then use the app to adjust the settings for your pass.

Is there a different Paris Passlib’ for children, students and senior citizens?

The Paris Passlib’ is the same price for everyone. However, many attractions offer reduced rates or free entry for children, students, and senior citizens. We recommend you check the conditions applying to each attraction before you reserve your Paris Passlib’.

Is there a reduced price for jobseekers and people with disabilities?

No, there is no reduced-price pass. However, many of our partners included in the Paris Passlib’ offer reduced rates or even free entry for jobseekers and for people with disabilities and their carers.
We recommend you check the conditions applying to each attraction before you reserve your Paris Passlib’.

Can we reserve the Paris Passlib’ for a group visit?

The Paris Passlib’ is designed for individuals or small groups. If you want to book a group visit, you need to contact the attraction to find out whether that’s possible, and you must comply with the access and booking conditions. Some attractions may require you to pay an entrance fee. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer services.

How long is the Paris Passlib’ valid for?

Whichever version you choose, the Paris Passlib’ is valid for one year, starting from the date you activate it by visiting your first attraction. So you can offer it as a gift, or keep it for several months and start to use it when you choose!

Is the Paris Passlib’ transferable?

Yes, the Paris Passlib’ is transferable; you can give it or lend it to someone. However, it’s not possible for two people to share the same pass. Each person must have their own pass.

Which attractions are included in my Paris Passlib’?

Depending on the version chosen, the Paris Passlib’ gives you access to a choice of up to 59 activities. Each version lets you choose from a wide range of attractions, included guided tours, river cruises, tasting sessions, bike or bus tours, and many more.

Does Paris Passlib’ include the use of public transport?

No, the Paris Passlib’ doesn’t include access to public transport. You can, however, in addition to reserving your pass, buy your transport tickets in advance online or at one of our Welcome Centres in Paris.

Can I visit the Eiffel Tower with the Paris Passlib’?

Yes! Access to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower is one of the attractions included in the Paris Passlib’ (with the exception of the ‘Mini’ version). However, you need to reserve the date and time of your visit in advance. The app contains all the information you need to book your time slot.

Is the Louvre Museum included in the Paris Passlib’?

Yes! Access to the permanent collections of the Louvre Museum is included in the Paris Passlib’ (with the exception of the ‘Mini’ version). However, you need to reserve the date and time of your visit in advance. The app contains all the information you need to book your time slot.

 

 

How your Paris Passlib’ works

Do I have to book my visits or activities in advance?

Some of the attractions have to be booked in advance at a certain date and time. These are clearly indicated in the app by the pictogram [ticket]. There are no booking fees.

Depending on the attraction, time slots can be booked by email, telephone or on the partner’s website. A booking confirmation will be sent to you by email – you’ll need to keep this and show it when you arrive for your visit.

How do I book the visits or activities included in my pass?

As soon as you receive your Paris Passlib’, you should:

  1. 1. Download the Paris Passlib app to your smartphone.
  2. 2. Scan the QR-code or enter your pass number in the appropriate field.
  3. 3. Select the visits or activities you would like to do, depending on the version chosen.
  4. 4. If the attractions require you to reserve a time slot, follow the instructions in the app to book your date and time. You’ll receive a ticket, indicating the time and date. Keep this carefully.

When will my pass be activated?

Your pass will be activated automatically when you visit your first attraction. It will be scanned on entry, and remains valid for one year from that date.

When can I start to visit the attractions in my Paris Passlib’?

It’s up to you! The Paris Passlib’ is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and you can activate it on the date and time of your choice.

Do I have to use my Paris Passlib’ on consecutive days?

No, you can do the activities you’ve chosen in your Paris Passlib’ as and when you like.

Can I recharge my Paris Passlib’ with new attractions?

No, the Paris Passlib’ is not rechargeable. Once you’ve visited all the attractions, the pass is deactivated.

Can I visit the same attraction more than once?

No, the Paris Passlib’ is not designed to let you do the same visit or activity more than once. Each attraction included in the Paris Passlib’ gives you the right to a single entry.

Is it possible to modify or cancel a visit or activity once the time slot has been booked?

Once you’ve booked your attraction, cancellation is possible up until 48 hours before the date booked.  You must contact the partner responsible for the attraction or our customer service (for visits to the Louvre Museum or the Eiffel Tower). You can find the contact details for the partner in the app, at any time. If your request to cancel is made less than 48 hours before your visit, modifications or cancellations are not possible.

Can the Paris Passlib’ be exchanged or refunded?

No. Once you’ve reserved a Paris Passlib’ it cannot be exchanged or refunded. However, the pass is valid for one year starting from the date of activation (the date you use it for your first attraction). Also, because it’s transferable, you can lend or give it to someone else.
